About the client

We are partnering with our client to expand their restaurant and gourmet shop business and are seeking skilled, motivated software engineers to join our team. As an early member of the technical team, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our websites and helping us achieve our goal of offering an extensive range of products and services in the hospitality industry. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design and develop responsive websites and web applications compatible with various platforms and devices
  • Create engaging and user-friendly web experiences using JavaScript, PHP, HTML and CSS
  • Write clean, modular, and maintainable code, adhering to best practices and industry standards
  • Collaborate with designers to create visually appealing, on-brand web pages that reflect the client's identity and values
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively within a team to contribute ideas and foster innovation
  • Work closely with other departments, stakeholders, and clients to ensure seamless project execution and alignment with business goals
  • Continuously evaluate and optimise website performance, usability, and accessibility
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest web development trends and technologies to enhance and expand skill set
  • Implement and maintain robust security measures to protect websites and web applications against potential threats and vulnerabilities


Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  • A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in software development, with a focus on successful project completion
  • At least 2 years of expertise working with JavaScript, PHP, HTML and CSS, demonstrating a commitment to stay up-to-date with last industry trends
  • A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a software development-related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Working knowledge in JavaScript frameworks such as ReactJS, Angular, Vue.js, or Node.js, allowing you to create dynamic and engaging web experiences
  • Familiarity with API creation, consumption, and RESTful services, enabling seamless integration with various applications and platforms
  • A creative and innovative mindset, with the ability to empathise with users, question traditional approaches, and deliver user-centric solutions
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills, ensuring a seamless development process and high-quality deliverables
  • Problem-solving capabilities, showcasing your resilience and adaptability in addressing technical challenges
  • A collaborative and supportive team player, who thrives in a dynamic environment and actively contributes to a positive team culture
  • Clear and effective communication skills in English, both written and oral, facilitating successful interactions with team members, clients, and stakeholders
