The Mobile Wave Solutions team is growing! We are looking for an Experienced SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test).

Our client is building a new platform from the ground up, aiming to redefine work for underserved nurses & carers. Their goal is to become a world-leading provider of healthcare services by building a platform to connect healthcare workers directly to those in need of care. How do they do that? By creating a  biosphere of care, that ensures that every touchpoint results in a positive experience that they want to share with others. They've already released several products that have had a fundamental impact on the business and you'll be joining at a time when the change is accelerating across all departments.
As an SDET you will be accountable for the team’s quality of tests as well as ensuring proper coverage. You will be the owner of testing, but not the sole contributor. Your focus in terms of test strategy should be: 

Duties and responsibilities

  • Propose, evaluate and apply test tooling for the different layers of testing 
  • Train & engage developers into the implementation of automated tests 
  • Participate in code reviews, ensuring testability and the creation of proper automated tests in each level of the pyramid 
  • Create, improve & maintain the CI pipelines, ensuring proper confidence and fail-fast mechanisms are in place towards continuous deployment 
  • Collaborate  POs/BAs to verify that business requirements (functional & non-functional) are well defined and met 
  • Enable the team to become Devops enabled by acting as the link between source code & infrastructure
  • Help to the team to troubleshoot/debug and contribute into establishing proper monitoring & alerting 
  • Participate in triage sessions 
  • Act as an ambassador of the product’s quality 
  • Have a clear view of the release process and contribute towards fully automating the process
  • Continuously sync with the rest of the SDETs ensuring alignment across teams 


Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  • At least 4 years of experience as SDET
  • Solid Experience of implementing Test Automation Frameworks from scratch
  • Practical experience with Javascript and Typescript
  • Practical experience/knowledge of Cypress and/or Playwright 
  • Proficiency with version-control and continuous integration
  • Excellent communication, presentation skills
  • Feel comfortable coaching various stakeholders on the relevant QA best practices and leading discussions about test strategy
  • Be flexible and adaptable to the business needs
  • Very good communication skills in English, both written and oral
  • Passion for details and near obsessive about shipping a quality product
  • Enjoy effective collaboration with people at all levels
