Job Description

The Mobile Wave Solutions team is growing! We are searching for an IOS Engineer. 

Our client builds world-class apps and digital products in the global lottery, betting, and gaming space. Joining us will give you the opportunity to work on highly scalable, performant, maintainable, and secure Web and Mobile Applications for clients in the heavily regulated online gaming sector. The portfolio of our client includes sports betting, casino, bingo, and, more predominantly of late, lottery applications.

Their websites get millions of users; their mobile apps are downloaded millions of times, because of that we are looking for a passionate iOS engineer who keeps up to date with the latest and greatest changes in Apple’s development platforms. 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Build own Swift frameworks for reusable code across our apps
  • Deliver with Fastlane, merging to a release branch automatically triggers the process to ship our builds to store
  • Structure and optimizе layouts for a variety of devices sizes and OS versions
  • Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general  reliability
  • Participate in daily project and team ceremonies, provide updates and collaborate with the team 
  • Write and deliver code in a TDD-suitable manner
  • Write clean, readable, and reusable code
  • Be able to deliver to deadline, as required in the sprint planning

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in iOS development
  • Proficiency with the iOS tech stack including Swift
  • Experience working with RESTful APIs
  • Experience with multi-threaded programming
  • Experience building adaptive UIs for Mobile Devices
  • Familiar with Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines and App Store Review Guidelines
  • Experience, or keen to be involved in mentoring Junior Team Members
  • Understanding of core computer science principles and concepts i.e. MVC, OOP, memory management
