Founded in 2014, the company is successfully expanding, and currently, its team consists of more than 130 professionals with rich technical expertise. Mobile Wave Solutions works with its customers to deliver on all aspects of the software development lifecycle - from project management and business analysis to development, testing (QA), and support.
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Engineering Manager to lead, grow, and inspire a team of talented engineers. This individual will be responsible for both people management and technical strategy. The successful candidate will build team unity and maturity, ensure high performance, and drive quality output.
1. People Development: Foster a positive work environment to nurture and grow individual team members. This includes tracking performance, promoting feedback and constructive criticism, and facilitating team bonding.
2. Technical Strategy: Work with senior developers to shape and guide the overarching technical strategy, maintaining a language agnostic approach.
3. Agile Delivery Management: Oversee the successful execution of Agile methodologies in project delivery, ensuring all processes, such as Scrum ceremonies, are properly implemented and followed.
4. Performance Management: Monitor, evaluate, and ensure the team is meeting its Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
5. Quality Assurance: Assume responsibility for the end-to-end QA strategy, ensuring high-quality output from the team and continuous improvements in processes and systems.
6. Conflict Resolution: Resolve conflicts and remove blockers to maintain team unity and morale.
7. Rewards Management: Advocate for both intrinsic and extrinsic rewards to motivate and acknowledge the team's accomplishments.
8. Client relationship management: Develop and maintain strong, positive relationships with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring their satisfaction through excellent service and communication.
9. Contribute to Technology Chapters: Actively participate in and contribute to technology-focused initiatives and discussions. Use your expertise and experience to guide best practices, introduce emerging technologies, and support the professional growth of chapter members.
