Business Analyst

Job Description

As a Business Analyst you will engage with multiple cross-functional delivery and product teams working on significant customer products and will evaluate and propose issue-solutions collaborating at all levels within the stakeholder group. You will understand that the customer is at the centre of everything we do and the continuous delivery of high-quality, effective and usable products is our key driver.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Lead Analysis activities on Product development, enhancements
  • Own the process of identifying Change Requests
  • Work with the client to extract needs and translate them into requirements, functional specifications and improve processes and workflows accordingly
  • Interact with clients with a view to understand the business objectives of their requirements
  • Manage stakeholders at all levels, build rapport and ensure requirements are fully understood
  • Prioritize requirements gathering efficiently to meet project targets
  • Write-up technical specifications and documentation on projects to ensure that all teams engaged are aligned on projects’ aims, deliverables and progress
  • Lead the company’s business analysis processes into an agile development process
  • Work closely with IT and the business to investigate and gather requirements, problems and opportunities, deliver improvements and solutions, identify and mitigate risks and dependencies
  • Mapping and GAP analysis of business processes and customer journeys including NFRs and implied requirements
  • Manage change requirements effectively, supporting both clients and internal project management teams to plan successfully
  • Working with QA to developing testing strategies and manage User Acceptance
  • Support internal teams by promotion, and confirmation, of full project understanding to ensure projects are delivered to specification and quality standards
  • Drive business goals into solutions that deliver business value
  • Review project requirements and estimate the necessary time-to-completion

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  • 2+ year of experience in a relevant field/position
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Information Technologies or similar
  • A highly motivated, proactive approach to work and projects
  • Strong analytical and problem solving ability
  • Ability to elicit and understand stakeholder requirements and motivations
  • Proven ability to communicate with clients and internal team members in a mature and effective manner
  • Ability to “think outside the box”, to think like a user and not blindly follow the specifications
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral
  • Excellent team player
  • Good personal time management
